Titanic

The Titanic's company the White Star line built the largest ship at the time in Belfast star line. It was ordered the 31st of July, 1908, in Liverpool. It was laid down the 31st of May and launched the 31st of March. Its voyage started on the tenth of April, 1912. There was 2223 people on board including staff. On the 4th day of its voyage to USA the Titanic hit an iceberg in its path. Two hours and forty minuted later it sunk. It was split in too two parts, the larger part sank first. 1517
people died making it one of the deadliest sinking of a ship in history. Many men died in the women and children protocol which was followed. One of the many accidents that happened on the ship was that 1st class had the most priority of surviving, many 2nd and 3rd class passengers died. And that some of the lifeboats only had half of the people allowed to be on it.
The Titanic was 269.1 m long and 53.3 m in height.
